Daniel’s, A Florida Steakhouse, is bringing the heat to Fort Lauderdale with the Ring of Fire, a smoky, spice-kissed cocktail that packs a punch.
Daniel’s, A Florida Steakhouse, may be the new kid on the block, but it’s already making waves with its dedication to Florida-sourced ingredients and a top-tier bar program. Helmed by Gioia Hospitality Group, the restaurant blends upscale dining with a warm, neighborhood feel, offering everything from locally sourced Wagyu to freshly caught Florida seafood. And while the steaks are certainly sizzling, it’s the cocktail menu that’s stealing the show—especially with the fiery masterpiece known as the Ring of Fire.
Crafted with Ilegal Mezcal, Aperol, Giffard Caribbean Pineapple Liqueur, and a kick of black pepper tincture, this drink is where sweet, smoky, and spicy collide. “It’s got that perfect balance—earthy mezcal, bright citrus, a touch of sweetness, and just the right amount of spice,” says Daniel Bishop, the restaurant’s Wine and Beverage Director.
Looking to turn up the heat on your next night out? Stop by Daniel’s and let the flames do the talking.
Ring of Fire Recipe:
- 1.5 oz Ilegal Mezcal
- 0.75 oz Aperol
- 0.5 oz Giffard Caribbean Pineapple Liqueur
- 0.5 oz Agave Syrup
- 0.5 oz Lime Juice
- 5 dashes Black Pepper Tincture
Directions: Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake well, and double strain into a rocks glass over crushed ice. Garnish with dehydrated lime.
Pro Tip: No black pepper tincture? Fresh cracked black pepper makes a great substitute.
